The way that a majority of Trump supporters express their support and admiration for their selected political leader frightens me. I was thinking back to 2016, when that golden statue of Trump was created, and not only created, but saw hundreds flock to it to praise it as if it were some sort of idol or deity. I've heard supporters, be them real or parody, doesn't matter, portray Donald Trump as a sort of savior figure in much the same way as a messiah. His policies in direct conflict with the teachings of Jesus Christ, yet the Christians who endorse him willfully choose to stay ignorant and blind. The more I see the direction this country going, the more I can see the United States of America, as a whole, being the modern day Sodom and Gomorrah. And not for any gay reason either. These people are the Israelites who built their golden calf when Moses went to fetch the law.
