How is life treating you?
Today I didn’t do a whole lot but I got myself out of the house and picked up a book on entry level sociology for a project I’m doing combining sociology with cellular biology it’s a hard subject but I’m enjoying it at the same time.

"A project I'm doing combining sociology with cellular biology" sounds like it's a project that could be disastrous depending on what the final outcome may be. I'm hoping you're not trying anything related to Social Darwinism.

I'm hoping you're not trying anything related to Social Darwinism. As far as it being dangerous.. nobody even takes it seriously tbh. What I’m doing is taking the parts of a basic animal cell and comparing it to the building blocks of a society and its function. When I first presented this idea it was immediately shut down as “Pointless stoner talk” What I’m comparing I have to present in the form of Sci Fi to even be read. The goal is to map out a society that functions more naturally as opposed to one that would work against it. My writing consists of looking at cell anatomy, how it thrives and also how it dies. Its death is a corrupt society vs a thriving cell that shows us a world to be seen as fair and balanced despite what we were taught to accept and reject. It’s not as brutal as it sounds. As science fiction it’s something to make you think. |
